Finasteride reduces DHT-related pattern loss; minoxidil is a vasodilator also used to support hair growth. Together they are sometimes prescribed for androgenetic hair loss. This is not a topical foam in this program.
Oral minoxidil for hair loss is often used off-label. Low-dose oral minoxidil can cause swelling, dizziness, and heart-rate or blood-pressure effects. Finasteride is not safe in pregnancy. Compounded combination capsules are not FDA-approved products.
